Buy and Print Shipping Labels

Melody Jaimon • February 9, 2023

Purchase and print a shipping label via USPS (United States Postal Service) in the store control panel. Depending on the location, there's an option to purchase domestic or international shipping label. Store immediately chooses the correct type of label based on the customer’s location. The cost is invoiced to you via your payment method in your Store account which you use to pay for your Store subscription.

Just a reminder, labels for Media Mail delivery service are not available to purchase.

To buy and print a shipping label:

  1. In the side panel, select eCommerce, then select Manage Store.
  2. Select My Sales, and click Orders.
  3. Select the order you want to have a shipping label for.
  4. In the Shipping details section, select Buy shipping label.
  5. If necessary, select Edit address or Edit info to make updates.
  6. (Optional) Complete the Customs Declarations fields for international shipping.
  7. (Optional) Select the box for Mark order as shipped and notify the customer by email. If you choose this option, the order status will immediately update to Shipped after the shipping label is bought, and the customer will receive an email with a tracking number. If you need to change the order status to Shipped manually after you’ve actually shipped the product, uncheck the checkbox.
  8. Choose the desired shipping service.
  9. (Optional) If you choose to change the size of the shipping label, click Edit in the Printer Settings field.
  10. Select Buy Shipping Label. Once the purchase is complete, you will see the shipping label information and a tracking number.
  11. Select Print Shipping Label.
