Membership Plans

To provide access to exclusive content on your site, you can organise your members and pages into Membership Plans. Plans can be either free or paid. For example, one of your customers has requested you create a site that includes online cooking courses. Users can join membership plans to get access to online video courses.

Plans

To view and manage your Membership Plans, go to Membership on the side panel and then click Membership Plans.

Create New Membership Plans

To create new Membership Plans:


  1. Click Membership Plans on the side panel.
  2. Click the +New membership plan, and complete the following:
  3. Name. Type the plan title.
  4. Description. Type a description.
  5. Assigned Pages. Choose the site pages from the list that members of this plan will be allowed to access.
  6. Members. To add members to this plan, click +Add Members. Only these members will have access to the assigned pages for this plan.
  7. Pricing. Select a billing frequency after clicking Demo, Free, or Paid (weekly, monthly, yearly). Type the price of the plan. You must be on a Business plan to access paid membership plans.
  8. Click Save.

Edit and Delete Membership Plans

To edit or remove existing plans, follow these steps:


  1. Click Membership Plans on the side panel.
  2. To edit or delete a plan, click the three dots icon next to it.
  3. Edit membership plan. Edit any information, add additional assigned pages or members, and then Save
  4. Delete membership plan. Click Delete to confirm. 

Configure Paid Membership

To accept payment for paid membership:


  1. Create a plan by following the procedures in the Create New Membership plan section.
  2. Click Paid, under the pricing and then choose a billing frequency (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly).
  3. Type the Price of the plan.
  4. Click Save.


If you haven’t established a payment gateway to accept payment, click connect a payment gateway.

Connect Payment Gateway

You must now connect Stripe as the payment gateway.

To accept payment gateway for membership plans:


  1. Click Membership Plans on the side panel.
  2. Click connect a payment gateway at the top of the page. Alternatively, in the side panel, go to Settings and then click Payment gateways.
  3. You must now connect Stripe as the payment gateway. Click Connect next to Stripe. 
  4. To log in and set up Stripe, follow the steps. Click Manage to handle changes to your Stripe account.
