HostGator CNAME and A Records

CNAME Record
To update your HostGator CNAME Record, follow these steps:
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Click Zone Editor under the Domains section.
- Search for your domain in the field given to find the domain name you need to change.
- Select Manage.
- Click +Add Record at the top of the list.
- Select CNAME under Type and provide the following information.
- Name: www
- CNAME: s.multiscreensite.com
A Records
To update your A Records on HostGator, follow these steps:
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Click Zone Editor under the Domains section.
- Search for your domain in the field given to find the domain name you need to change.

- Select Manage.
- Click Delete next to any existing A Records in the list.
- Click +Add Record at the top of the list.
- Select A under Type.

- Enter the following information and click Add Record.
- Name: Your Domain (for example, example.com)
- Record: 35.172.94.1
- Repeat steps 6-7 to add a second A Record with the following details, and then click Add Record.
- Name: Your Domain (for example, example.com)
- Record: 100.24.208.97
