eBay Commerce Network

Melody Jaimon • August 25, 2022

The eBay Commerce Network is the only advertising network that enables merchants to engage consumers across many websites in a single campaign. It brings together 8,000 merchants and 2,000 publishers to reach 250 million consumers worldwide. It is currently accessible in France, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia and USA.

Advertisers can reach people at every step of the shopping process, from being aware of a product to buying it. The network includes search engines like Bing, content sites like CNET, shopping portals like The Find, and online markets (eBay). Within the eBay Commerce Network, Shopping.com will continue to be a place to compare prices and shop online.

  • Choose the Marketplace category to see your items on Shopping.com.
  • This category will be used for all store products, thus it should be broad enough to include all items.
  • Go to the Products → Submit  Datafeed page in your merchant account centre.
  • Set Datafeed file provider to Other feed Provider. Then you can choose your shipping and tax rates.
  • Select Retrieve from my own FTP or HTTP location in the Submit Your Datafeed File section. Set the  Datafeed file URL to the Feed URL obtained from the control panel → Marketplaces eBay  Commerce Network Feed URL (leave username and password empty).  Then tap the Almost there! Map data feed column button.
  • Make sure that the Shopping.com column is right and that it matches each of your feed columns. Then press the Continue button.
  • Your campaign is nearly done. Your application will be reviewed and your profile will be activated by the eBay Commerce Network team. Following that, you should refill your account balance, create bids, and launch your first campaign to increase sales.
