Site Icons

Home screen icons, share images, favicons, and startup images allow you to customise, brand, and polish your site's user experience, as well as make it simpler for a visitor to find your site among a slew of tabs or links on their home screen. If you're not sure what icons, share images, favicons, or start-up images are, please see the list below.

Ensure that your site is republished after adding or editing any site icons. To view the updated icon, you may need to reload the page or clear the cache.

To edit your site's icons, do the following:

1. Choose Settings on the left column, then click Site Icons.
2. Click +Image alongside the icon you wish to edit.

Favicon

Your favicon shows in the tab of your browser next to your page title. It enables customers to easily recognise and navigate to your site, even with many tabs open.

The allowed resolution sizes for favicons are 24 x 24, 36 x 36, and 48 x 48 pixels. It is suggested that favicons should be used as .ico file type.

Social Networks Image (Open Graph)

This is the image that will appear on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks when your site is shared.

Home Screen Icon (Mobile & Tablet)

Home screen icons are a mobile phone version of bookmarks that appear on iPhone and iPad devices when your site is bookmarked on the home screen. Users can store a home screen icon on their phone's home screen, much like an app. On mobile devices, clicking this button takes viewers to your website.

This image should be a square with a resolution of at least 57 by 57 pixels.
