Contact Form Troubleshooting

Melody Jaimon • January 19, 2023

If the Submission recipient field is left blank, the primary email address in the content library will be used. If such an email does not exist, the account owner will be the default submission recipient. All responses are directed to the form responses page.

If you are unable to receive form submissions sent via the Contact Form widget, it is most likely because our email is being filtered as spam on your email server.

Check your spam folder if you do not receive emails from Website Builder. If you still do not see the email, ensure that the IP addresses 167.89.22.215 and 149.72.216.48 are whitelisted in your email provider's settings.

This checklist is only applicable to contact forms created with the Contact Form widget.

Checklist

  • Examine the form responses to ensure that the contact form is operational. You can download it by clicking the contact form >>> form responses.
  • Check to see if the email address is correct. If you enter multiple emails, remember to separate them with a comma (no spaces).
  • Examine your website's spam folder.
  • Check your email filter and blacklist settings to make sure they are not blocked.
  • Add no-reply@multiscreensite.com to your white list of email addresses.
  • Make a new page and add your contact form to see if it works.
  • In the site settings, disable any custom scripts on your site.

If your contact form is still not working after going through the troubleshooting checklist, contact your email provider to investigate why our contact form email submissions are not being received.

If it works on another page on your mobile site but not on the page it is supposed to work on, it usually means that a custom script is interfering with your contact form's functionality. Reset the page or inspect your page for any custom scripts that may be causing this problem.
