Customize Background

Choose a colour or an image to customise the background of your website. Use eye-catching and creative backgrounds to match the concept of your business. To add a unique site design, select a custom background image from the photo gallery or upload your images. Your background can be tailored to each device.
Site Background
To edit your website's background:
- Choose Design on the left panel, and then click Site Background.
- Select Background for all page.
- Click either the
Color or
Image option to pick a background colour for the website or to upload an image.
Background Per Page
To customise the page background:
- Click Design on the left panel, and then click Site Background.
- Tap Background per page.
- Choose a page from the drop-down menu and then choose an image or color for that page.
Images & Content Background
Additionally, the background of things above the site background may be changed. These settings may be applied to both widgets and rows.
To modify the background of your content, do the following:
- Right-click the widget or row and select Edit Design from the context menu.
- Depending on the widget or row, pick a background colour or image from the Style tab.
You can also add an image slider as a background to any row or column.
- To build the background image slider, click the + sign and select many images from the image picker rather than a single image.
- Once the slider has been constructed, you may configure slide options such as transition style and speed using the row design menu:
- The slider can use any of the other background image choices, including Background Overlay, Positioning, and display style.
Video Backgrounds in Rows
In the case of rows, in addition to images and colours, video backgrounds will also be accessible.
Videos are only viewable on desktop websites and must be posted on Vimeo or YouTube.
Before loading, YouTube background videos always display the video's title and uploader. There is no way to delete these items without modifying the CSS manually. Due to this change, background YouTube videos are no longer recommended.
Video Backgrounds in Columns
Videos are now available as column background options. Click the Column and then the
Video tab to add a video backdrop. Ensure that the column is selected instead of the row. Check the top of the menu, which should indicate
Column Design, to confirm that you have selected the row.
