Floating Buttons

Floating buttons enable you to keep a button visible even when a visitor scrolls down the page. Floating buttons are useful for keeping important calls to action fixed, visible, and clickable across all site pages.

Examples of ideal applications include:

• Contact Us
• Subscribe
• Get a Quote

To make a button float, do the following:

1. Create a button for your website. See Add Widgets for more information.
2. Right-click the button and select Edit Design from the menu that appears.
3. Scroll down and click the Floating toggle on the Style tab. If the Floating attribute is disabled, the button appears in the first row at the top of the page by default.
4. Choose a location for the button. To change the position on different devices, change the device view.
5. Enable the Show on this page only toggle to display the floating button only on the current page.
   

Mobile Considerations

• On mobile, we recommend placing the Floating button in the bottom right corner of the screen so visitors can click it with one hand.
• On mobile, you can display an icon rather than text by selecting the layout that includes an icon.
• If a floating button does not appear on mobile, you may be using an out-of-date mobile layout. To make changes to the layout, go to the Design Editor and select Site Layout.
