Marketplaces

Ecommerce Marketplaces are a great place for online stores to promote their products besides comparison engines and their own websites. Online marketplaces are websites that collect information about products from many different sellers. Millions of people use them to look for and compare products they want to buy online.

Only the Advanced Store and the Unlimited Store have this feature. The Store is linked to the most popular online markets:

Instagram

By tagging products in your posts and stories, you can give your customers a way to buy from your store without ever leaving Instagram. Instagram looks through a catalogue on Facebook Shop to find and tag products. Once your products are tagged, customers can see a bag icon and tap a link to see the item's name, price, description, extra photos, and a direct link to your storefront product page, where they can buy the item.

With just a few clicks, you can sync and link your Facebook Shop to your Instagram business account. As a result, you'll have more ways to sell your products. Your product catalogue will show up on your website, Facebook Page, and Instagram, and the Store Control Panel will let you manage your catalogue and orders.

See Sell on Instagram if you want to learn more.

eBay

With more than 150 million buyers, eBay is probably one of the best-known marketplaces. You can send your products to eBay through the StoreFront and keep track of your stock and orders right here in your control panel. Use it as an extra storefront to boost sales and speed up the growth of your business. In our eBay setup article, you can learn how to use the storefront to sell your goods.

All supported countries can use the Codisto LINQ app from the Store Control Panel's App Market to get this feature.

Google Shopping

Google Shopping allows you to export your items to Google and use it as an extra sales channel. When someone searches for your items on google.com and google.com/shopping, your products will display. Customers will see a picture of your item, its price, and your store name on Google. Customers who click on your ad will be led to your website, where they may purchase your item. To learn how to add items to Google Shopping, see our Google Shopping articles.

See the following article for a list of supported countries and currencies. Please keep in mind that countries listed as Beta are not currently supported.

Yandex Market

Yandex Market is a marketplace that is mostly used by Russian sellers and buyers.

eBay Commerce Network

eBay Commerce Network Is the only advertising network that enables merchants to engage customers on eBay as well as other websites in a single campaign. It brings together 8,000 businesses and 2,000 publications to reach 250 million customers worldwide. Our eBay Commerce Network setup article explains how to market your items using eBay Commerce Network.

Amazon

Amazon is one of the best marketplaces in the world, and more than 180 million people visit it every month. You can list your products on Amazon, which will increase the number of people who might buy them and your sales.

However, simply listing your products isn’t enough. Just like with Google, you can use Amazon SEO to rank your listings higher in Amazon's search results. Optimising your product titles, bullet points, backend keywords, and descriptions can greatly improve your visibility and click-through rates.

Your Store Control Panel is where you can manage your products and orders when you sell on Amazon. If you sync the stock between the two services, you might be sure that no one will sell more than they should.

You can sell on Amazon.com if these things are true about your store:

  • Your store is set to the United States.
  • The currency of the store is set to USD. To change your currency, go to the Store Control Panel, hit Settings, Regional Settings, and then Currency.
  • You do not offer handcrafted items.
  • Amazon has it's own marketplace known as Amazon Handmade. You cannot add product listings using third-party platforms; you must do it through your Amazon Handmade account. There is a possibility that Amazon may reject them if you submit them to the Amazon marketplace.
  • For further information, please visit Sell on Amazon.
