Product Images

Product images provide customers with a visual representation of your products and are a major driver of store engagement and sales.

Add Product Images

You can upload an infinite amount of photos for any product in your Store. For your products, we recommend using JPG, PNG, and GIF images in RGB colour format.

To add images to a product:

  1. Click eCommerce in the sidebar, then click Manage Store.
  2. Click Catalog, followed by Products.
  3. To add an image to a specific product, click Edit Product.
  4. Click Upload Images beneath the General tab.
  5. Choose from the photographs already on your site, or click Upload Images to upload images from your computer. You can upload an unlimited number of photos.
  6. Click Done.
  7. (Optional) To modify the order of the photographs, drag and drop them. The first image uploaded will be shown as the product thumbnail on the category page and as the first image on the product page.
  8. Click Save.

Once images have been uploaded, customers will be able to view them in your Store.

Add Images to Product Description

You can add images to the product description to enhance the product's presentation.

To add images to the product description, follow these steps:

  1. Click eCommerce in the sidebar, then click Manage Store.
  2. Click Catalogue, followed by Products.
  3. Select Edit Product from the menu.
  4. Drag and drop photographs from your computer into the Description area, or click Insert Image.
  5. Select Save.

Add Image to a Product Variation

Using product variants, you can add various photos to different product options if you sell products with options (such as colour or size). You can only add one image per variation. If you wish to display more images of a variant, you must include them in the main product gallery or product description.

To include an image in a product variation:

  1. Click eCommerce in the sidebar, then click Manage Store.
  2. Click Catalog, followed by Products.
  3. To add an image to a product with variants, choose Edit Product and then click the product in question.
  4. Select Variations from the Options tab's Variations submenu.
  5. Click +New Variation and pick the option to which an image will be added.
  6. Click Change beneath the existing image.
  7. Choose the new image from the photos on your website or upload an image from your computer.
  8. Click Accept.
  9. Select Save.

The image is added for the variant. If you have many versions, repeat the instructions above for each one.
