Title Widgets

Text is how you will communicate with your users and convey information about your website. Text widgets (see Text Editor) and Large or Small Title widgets can be added to your site for basic content. Titles are output as H1-H6 tags and are beneficial to SEO.

You can easily control the look of your site by configuring global styles with these various widgets.

To include title widgets:

1. Click Widgets in the left panel.
2. Drag the Large Title widget or the Small Title widget into your website.

Titles vs Text

The most frequently asked question is which widgets should you use on your site. The answer is dependent on the type of text you're writing.

• Use a Title widget to create a headline or slogan that needs to stand out. Title widgets can be given special styles in the global styles section, allowing you to use them to draw attention to specific areas of your site. Titles can be assigned six different styles. Keeping track of these will allow you to create your site more quickly by allowing you to make global changes with the click of a button.
• Use a Text widget to create a block of text.

The Text widget has standard spacing and is appropriate for normal text.

Titles have more space between them. Use titles to draw attention to a specific section of your website.

Large and Small Titles

The large and small title widgets are essentially identical, but with different default settings.



• A large title widget automatically inserts text with H1 styles.
• A small title widget inserts text with default H3 styling.
  

Text Options

Each text widget (text or title) has two customizable options. One set can be changed inline, while the other opens a popup menu with more options.
