Lottie Animation Widgets
You can add vector quality animations to your site using the Lottie Animation widget.
Lottie is an Android and iOS mobile library that parses Adobe After Effects animations exported as JSON using Bodymovin and renders them on mobile and the web.
Browse
LottieFiles for animation, or make your own in After Effects and export it with the
Bodymovin plugin.
To include the widget:
- Click Widgets in the left panel.
- Drag the Lottie Animation widget into your website.
See Add Widgets for more information on adding widgets to your site.
Content Editor
To contact the content editor, follow these steps:
- Edit Content by right-clicking it.
- In the box provided, paste the Lottie Animation URL.
- To find the URL for the animation, open it in LottieFiles and select <html>. You can also paste the URL of any JSON file hosted outside of LottieFiles.
- Select Loop Animation to play the animation continuously, or choose Animate on click.
- (Optional) To add a link to the animation, click Link and then choose the type of link.
- If you use a free LottieFile animation, you must include the animation creator's credentials. The information about the animation creator can be found at the bottom of the animation pop up. See the LottieFile creative commons licence information.
